SHORT ENGLISH STORY :THE WIND AND THE SUN

 


Once, the Wind and the Sun had a disagreement. 🌬️☀️ “I’m stronger than you,” said the Wind. “No, I’m stronger,” replied the Sun. Just then, they noticed a traveler walking down the road, wrapped in a shawl. 🧣 They decided that whoever could make the traveler remove his shawl would be the strongest.

The Wind went first. He blew as hard as he could, trying to pull the shawl off the traveler. But the more he blew, the tighter the traveler held onto his shawl. 💨 The Wind tried and tried, but it was no use.

Then it was the Sun’s turn. The Sun began to shine warmly. 😊 The traveler started to feel the warmth and loosened his shawl. The Sun shone brighter and warmer, and soon, the traveler felt so hot that he didn’t need his shawl anymore. He took it off and dropped it on the ground. ☀️

The Sun had won, proving that he was stronger than the Wind. 🌞
